Saputik
Kangirsuk
Saputik means "supporter" or "care taker" in Inuktitut and is the landholding corporation for the community of Kangirsuk. The Saputik Landholding Corporation of Kangirsuk was established in 1980.
Kangirsuk, meaning “the bay” in Inuktitut, is a Nunavik community located along the shores of the Payne River, approximately 13 kilometres from Ungava Bay.

Kangirsumiut Inc. Incorporated in 2018, Kangirsumiut Inc. is a partnership between Saputik LHC, the local COOP as well as the local Anguviaq for the harvesting and processing of seaweed.

Office Complex Saputik LHC is currently constructing an office building in Kangirsuk.
Office space will also be available for rent.
Hunting and Fishing
Specific rules and conditions for non-beneficiaries are established by the Saputik Landholding Corporations when sports fishing or sports hunting in Kangirsuk.
