Tuvaaluk is the landholding corporation for the community of Quaqtaq. Tuvaaluk Landholding Corporation of Quaqtaq was established in 1979.
Quaqtaq meaning "tapeworm" in Inuktitut is located on the eastern shore of Diana Bay. This bay is known in Inuktitut as Tuvaaluk meaning “the large ice field” which gave its name to the local landholding corporation.
